HELP was started in 1986 with the intention of supporting the poorest children in Asia, especially from India for education. Later on it was noted that the poor who comes for educational support were coming from a very poor conflict background. Thus the motivation shifted from Poor to Peace. But ultimately helping in education for a better world and peace living is the highest motive. The philosophy behind is help a child, to educate, that will make a difference in the world of tomorrow. There are so many kids coming from conflict zones such as Sri Lankan refugees in India, Maoists, Naxalites and extremism from religious fundamentalism fanaticism. Educating these kids will make a difference in the world of tomorrow. Several kids were educated in the past and they are employed now, living and helping to live others in peace. Plans are now underway to begin a Peace & Conflict Study Program in Indian University. Right now there are no peace studies in Indian Universities; although Mahatma Gandhi was born in India. Please support. This is a registered trust, thus financial support for to this organization is tax deductible.

Higher educational support job oriented study $250/- per year
